Tino: Promoting a Māori identity within Tāmaki Makaurau

Tino is an education tool that has been designed to:

• Illustrate the distinctive identity of Māori so it can be used effectively to profile and promote Auckland and New Zealand

• Provide information and links to the Mana Whenua and Mataawaka of Tāmaki Makaurau to broaden knowledge and understanding, thereby assisting with the development of strong partnerships and relationships

• Demonstrate the commonalities of Māori and Auckland Council values

• Bring information together and making it easily accessible at the click of a button
